How Calcsy publishes calculator guides
Calcsy aims to publish calculator content that is distinct, practical, and easy to verify. We would rather keep a smaller public library than publish large numbers of near-duplicate pages that do not add real value.
What we prioritize
- Topics with clear everyday use, such as mortgage payments, debt payoff, paycheck planning, savings growth, and percentage math.
- Explanations that include formulas, worked examples, common mistakes, and realistic scenarios.
- Clear links from written guides back to the relevant calculator experience.
What we avoid
- Publishing large clusters of pages that say almost the same thing with minor keyword changes.
- Presenting estimates as professional tax, legal, medical, or investment advice.
- Leaving pages public if they no longer meet our quality bar.
Research and updates
Guides may reference common formulas, public consumer resources, or time-sensitive market context when the topic depends on it. When a page becomes outdated, thin, or duplicative, we revise it, consolidate it, or remove it from indexing.
Corrections
If a reader reports a material error, we review the page and update it where needed. Correction requests can be sent to support@calcsy.app.
Advertising
Any advertising on Calcsy must not reduce the usefulness of the core calculator or guide. During policy review periods, ad placements may remain disabled.
